The Spotlight Project

Director, Producer

Inspired by a rhetorical question surrounding the possibility of sustaining the inspiration of temporary organized gatherings of people, the Spotlight Project explores the role a collective memory can play in achieving said longevity. Recorded over two years and debuted at the 2013 TEDxUofM conference in Ann Arbor, MI, the project draws on print, film, and exhibited portraits to compile the stories of people from a variety of vocations into a collective voice.
